A perfect fish food, scuds will also help to clean up waste in the aquarium and will generally leave healthy plants alone in a planted ecosystem aquarium due to the natural presence of mulm, decaying plant material, etc which they prefer over most healthy plants. Easy to culture, hardy, great source of fish food, interesting to watch as a standalone creature in a small enclosure. Comes with minimum of 50 scuds to get a colony going. Keep weather in mind when ordering, cannot tolerate freezing or excessive heat.
